Anita hails from Rohad village in Jhajjar, Haryana. She is pursuing her graduation in Computer Applications from MDU (Rohtak). She was born in December 1994 to truck driver, Rajbir and Neelam.
My father has an experience of about 25 years of driving and he abides by the rules of traffic for road safety. It is a huge responsibility to abide by the safety rules on road for self and for others.
My father is a responsible citizen. By God’s grace, he did not have to face any road accident till today. But then, there are things that happen on the road unpredictably.
Once my father had started for Faridabad with his truck in the night. Some unacquainted people encircled him at about 12:30. They wanted to rob the vehicle. They had parked their car in front of my father’s vehicle, so he couldn’t drive ahead. They were about 8-9 people who had got off their car to come near my father’s truck and had started banging the mirror and window and the sides of the vehicle. They had scattered all around. My father got worried for a moment but then he locked the mirrors of the vehicle and took out his phone to call the police.
Watching him do this, the gang fled. My father breathed relief and proceeded safely from there.
Often my father has to go out with his vehicle during the night. In the house we all get anxious for him praying for his safe return. I have learnt a lot from the experiences of my father He tells us, “Education is important for all as it makes you an open minded human being and most important, it makes you independent.” My education, is my father’s dream.
