Sarvleen Kour from Jammu is pursuing B.Sc. from Government College for Women in Gandhinagar. Aiming to become an IAS officer, it is her dream to serve the nation and most importantly foster morals and humanity. Daughter of truck driver S. Gurcharan Singh and Amit Kour, she wants to earn love and respect for herself and leave her footprints in the eternal sands of time.

My papa is the lonely hunter of my heart. He is the exceptional gift without whom the definition of the word “family” would be incomplete.

The whole story rewinds four years back. It was the summer morning of 23rd May 2013. Kikki, my sister, and I were getting ready for our school. My mother was preparing food and packing our tiffin. Suddenly, Tavan, my cousin, rushed into the room. He was sweating excessively and his heart was beating like a woodpecker poking the wood continuously.
