My father’s name is Parikarma Deen Mishra and he is a truck driver. It’s not only me who loves my father; every member of the family loves him equally, for even though he is the only breadwinner of our family of ten, he has never said “No” to any of our demands and has always striven hard to fulfill our dreams.
My father and my elder brother (Monu Mishra) used to drive a truck together. It so happened that once when my father was driving, the front tire of the truck got stuck in the muddy waters of a pond located a few kilometers away from our house. We all reached there to help him, but we could not. He was sitting inside the truck trying his best to take the truck out of the pond.
Scared to see him like this, we started crying and requesting him to get down from the truck. He finally got down, and gladly, we could rescue him, but he wouldn’t leave his vehicle alone. He kept sitting there for a long time, until a crane was called to take the truck out of the pond.
