Noise it made every morning,
Music of its own, it had all the way,
Could hear all around,
In the house, and at distance,
Like alarm clock, worked all the days,
Time to wake up,
For the day, it was time to go own way,
Impact it made, in its own way,
When everything so still,
This first activity every day,
Set her routine for full day,
At remote village, there was no other way,
Hand driven grinding machine in every home,
Where women worked without a break,
Flour it produced,
Fed all the day,
Curiosity as a child had all the way,
Why my mother behind the wheel every day,
Many women at home, they never showed the way,
Bias this way, a daughter in law had all the way,
Rights, she had many in her own way,
Taunting she had all the way,
Pain she had, could see in her eyes all the way,
Fighter she was, stood her ground all the way,
Common it was, loudness in every house,
Could feel in their shrillness,
Unraveled a story of pain all the way,
Now it was time to rebel and walk own way!!
