Biography

Tuhin was born in Jamshedpur, blessed by the discipline and nature that small towns are known for. Having spent a large part of his growing up years in the plush quarters of Tata Motors, Tuhin still dreams about those large flowers in the garden, birds of different breeds flocking in, impromptu bonfires, the litti-chokha that was prepared in open air inviting neighbourhood kids to join as guests, the muddy path leading to the out-house, country-roads curving in and out like snakes, long drone monsoons and the breeze of Subarnarekha.
Known to be quiet and reserved, Tuhin was always a lover of cricket. He never thought he’ll become a writer; his first choice of career was to be a cricketer. However, right from the beginning, his love and grasp for Literature was strong. Another influence in his life was history and politics. As he grew up, fat books on history and politics of India and biographies or letters of important personalities kept him occupied. India, as a country, with its own social-economic-political-religious-cultural visions, strengths and weaknesses, is still his most compelling interest.

Tuhin went to Loyola School till his 12th, and obtained a B.Com (Hons.) from the Hindu College, University of Delhi. Further, he completed his Post-Graduate Diploma in Advertising and Communications from the National Institute of Advertising, New Delhi. Being an obsessive learner and driven by his sheer interest on various aspects of being, he treats Google as his best friend.
