Ranikhet is a hill station and cantonment town in Almora district in the Indian state of Uttarakhand. It is home for the Military Hospital, Kumaon Regiment (KRC) and Naga Regiment and is maintained by the Indian Army. Nainital is a popular hill station in the Indian state of Uttarakhand and headquarters of the Nainital district in the Kumaon foothills of the outer Himalayas. Tal, meaning lake, Nainital is surrounded by beautiful lakes with the Naini lake in its heartland.

Such are the geographic descriptions of two most beautiful tourism destinations of India. But lots of fresh observations and perceptions pop up, when nature is reviewed through the feelings of a thirteen year old.
